My husband and I are interested in purchasing a pop up shade tent for our family. Does anyone have any recomendations on features to look for or brand?

We use EZ UP for our Girl Scout events. Easy to store, has wheels on the bottom of the storage bag for easy portability. We bought it at the sporting goods store (Big 5).

This is the one I bought my sister. I got one from Sears that is the same brand and we love it except this one is the newer one and if you look in the middle of the legs it is easier to break down because of the way you do the release. On ours you have to push the little buttons into the hole and it isn't as easy. My husband can do it, but it hurts my fingers to push those in.

 

They carry them at WalMart and Big 5 sporting goods. Well, they carry them lots of places but WalMart has pretty good prices and they go on sale all the time at Big 5. But if you order through Amazon there is no tax and free shipping.

We got a very nice tent at Costco for the soccer team. It is very sturdy and has lasted for several years.
