KC-Traderbear Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 This is regional, but at Hen House Markets, there is a pretty nice rebate available for the purchase of Keebler, Kelloggs and Sunshine products. I happened to see it in the cracker/cookie aisle, but now that I think about it I wonder if it applies to cereal too??? (I didn't check while I was there.) Anyway, if you buy 5 of their products, you can get a $10 giftcard to Hen House Markets. If you buy 10 products, you can get a $25 giftcard to Hen House Markets. Throughout the aisle, you will also find tear pads for free marshmallows (value of up to $1.99) if you buy Keebler Graham Crackers, also $1 off any kind of bottled H20- 6 pack when you buy crackers. So there are some other offers for some of their crackers in addition to the specific Hen House giftcard. Tonight while I was there, I noticed some great sale prices on their cookies and crackers. (...tomorrow is Wednesday and that means a new grocery ad....but, you might keep your eyes open if you shop that store.) I bought 10 boxes of a variety of crackers (all on sale) for $28.79; got 2 bags of free marshmallows and a 6pack of bottled water for 39 cents (after coupon). Plus, all I have to do... according to the rebate offer... is to mail in my receipt (no UPCs necessary) and I will get a $25 Hen House giftcard. So, that will make my 10 boxes of crackers $3.79. (You have to purchase all items on the same transaction/receipt.) I have to send snacks with all 3 of my kiddos for their school classes, so many of these will go toward that this fall. All the boxes I got don't expire until Jan. of 2010, but you need to watch the expiration dates. Anyway, it says on the rebate form that this is only good in Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma, so I hope this at least helps someone from those areas!
Sarasuzymama Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 This is also happening at Price Chopper. This week Frosted Mini Wheats were on sale for $2.50/box. I bought 10, used a $1 coupon on each box, so I will get a $25 gc back for spending $15 on cereal! A great moneymaker! I would keep an eye out for sales at HH and PC for any Kellogg's products...could be some GREAT deals out there! (You could still get the Price Chopper deal, but the sale price is only good through 6/9).
Sarasuzymama Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 Also...the offer at Price Chopper says "one per household" but I wonder if you could send in one Price Chopper form and one Hen House form?
KC-Traderbear Posted June 10, 2009 Author Posted June 10, 2009 GOOD to know that you found it to work on cereal too. Now, if those stores would just come out with a killer price on Rice Krispies, which have seemed to go sky high in price recently. It seems like an effortless rebate... kind of weird that you don't need to have UPCs though... just original receipt! I usually don't like rebates and spending time doing them. I'm always afraid I'm going to miss one small thing and go to all that work for nothing, but this seems very easy for the amount of money you will get back!
dgagnon Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 Rice Crispies are in the ad today for Price Chopper 3/12 but then 3 boxes free and they are the big boxes not the small ones. $2.00 a box isn't bad.
chr05angel Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 plus this sundays 1.00 and 1.50 coupons for Kelloggs. if you use boht coupons you get 6 boxes for 1.58 a box
dgagnon Posted June 13, 2009 Posted June 13, 2009 Well I bought 10 items today but I couldn't seem to locate the form I am going to check at another price chopper tomorrow.
KC-Traderbear Posted June 13, 2009 Author Posted June 13, 2009 Well I bought 10 items today but I couldn't seem to locate the form I am going to check at another price chopper tomorrow.Make sure to check both the cereal aisle and cracker/cookie aisle... even try the candy aisle because they have some multi pack snack pack items that are also included and I saw them in that aisle as well.
