Elura 80, 85 or 90... I'm honestly not sure what the difference between them is other than the zoom.

For some reason the Elura 80 is listed twice but you can compare specs for all 3 models side by side.

It seems the main substantive differences are that the 90 has a built-in light, a better night-shot mode, longer max focal distance, microphone jack, more zoom. The light would definitely be nice.

$699 * .75 = $524.25 - $60 = $464.25

OR

$699 - $60 = $639 * .75 = $479.25

?

Yeah, the Elura 90. Any accessories I should pick up right off the bat besides an extra battery and some tapes? Already have a firewire cable. I suppose we'll need a bag. Jenni has a tripod/monopod.

Not sure if he has any Canon batteries, but I just got a 4hour camcorder battery for my new Panasonic PV-GS65 (which I love by the way) from a guy on EBAY for twenty bucks (Panasonic, not the generic version).
