bovichtj
Pretty good deal. I think you will see more like this, though, because of the DSI, which released just yesterday. I would think DSLite would be more than sufficient for a 7 yr old. My DD 11 wants DSI, but she has had DS Lite for 2.5 yrs... DD 9 and DS 5 also enjoy DS Lite, especially in the car :)

I didn't see the free shipping- how did you get free shipping? Games are priced well too. Is this sale at the store too? Thank you!

khuddle
My 9 year old got a DSi on Sunday. He traded in his DSlite at Gamestop and got a credit which he used to get the DSi. My 5 year old got a DSlite for his birthday last June and loves it!!! We just did not want to upgrade him quite yet.
poopoohead
for that age group, that should be sufficient. I got both my boys PSPs last year and they wanted DS lites this year which they saved up for doing chores. They are into Pokemon (ughhh) so they really like the DS. Though side by side the PSP just simply blows it away. not even close. but hey maybe I can convince them to give me one of their PSPs. I paid 129 on-line at walmart. ship to store and because one son wanted the Colbolt blue and the other wanted the Onyx Black they ended up being shipped from from store back east to california. 99 bucks is a great deal and used games are plenty through gamestop. enjoy. lc1457
I went to the local store last and purchased a red ds lite there for my ds who will turn 7 in May. He has been asking for one for over a year and says he's the only one in his class without one - doubt this. We too will limit his time on it. In our house, it replaces tv time. My ds 9 got a ds lite for his 9th birthday. He was not into video games but we bought him one because he is very shy and we felt it would help him socialize with kids his own age better. He is very quiet and found it hard to strike up a conversation. He would say to us - all they talk about is video games. he doesn't play that much with his - but it really did help him socially. He knows what the other kids are talking about now and is able to join in the conversation.
