I heard the same thing about the price drop. I caved and bought the xbox 360. Cheaper and the boys liked the games better. Still may buy the ps3 but after the price drop.

It has only been rumored that it will go down.

But I think I remember seeing a bundle with Rock Band a few weeks ago at Best Buy for $400.

 

I got mine with the Playstation CC and Microsoft live.com/cashback, a couple of months ago.

The CC gave a $150 credit back to the card, and Microsoft gave me a $20 check for my purchase by using them to find the retailer I wanted to use.

Does anyone know of any good deal on the PS3 going on currently?

 

I would love to suprise my hubby with this for christmas, but I am due to have a baby next week, and will be on Maternity leave through the Holiday season, so I need a deal!

Dell seems to be selling the 120GB Slim for $275 + free shipping pretty regularly - although its not on sale currently.

 

This is about the average sale price.
