Looking for a Tea Set for a little girls birthday party (help)

Recommended Posts

I hope someone can help me out here. My cousin going to be throwing a Birthday Party for her DD in April it will be a Fairy Make-over party with tea for approximately 12 little girls (her DD will be 5) She is also looking for a three tier server. I sent her an email about what she plans to do with the tea set after the party. I dont know if the cups and saucers/plates will be part of the goody bag or not. I will update the post once I hear back from her.

If anyone knows where I can get something like this for her please let me know. I have already emailed her some links from Amazon (I did a search for tea sets for girls)

Thanks for any and all help.

Walmart had some cute ones (kid Konection) I think they had 6 cup 6 saucers each marked down for $7 each at mine. Another idea is have a tea party with "pearl necklaces", paint finger nails and have hats and/or feather boas. That is probably what I'll do for my DD next year for her 3 year party. She LOVES tea parties and finger nails painted.

Target had little girl's tea sets in the 50% off clearance isle yesterday.

You might check here also, they have a few sets for reasonable prices ($10-$14)

Amazon has this 3 tiered tray for $20.

I made my sister a tea set several years ago for Christmas. So she could "play big girl tea party" with her friends. I bought cups and saucers at places like Goodwill & Salvation Army. I picked two colors and used these to pull the different styles together as I found pieces. I even found a teapot.

I had a princess tea party for my daughters 4th birthday. I have three kids. We have big parties every year and I have to say I think this was the funnest party.

I rented a hall and put on the invitations for everyone to come dressed up.

We had tiaras for all of the girls. I had tables set up for them to get their make-up, nails and hair done. I had my neice (14) and some of her friends there to do all of that.

Then we had Cinderella come to the party. She helped do the girls nails and make-up. I have a friend that is a photographer. He set up in the corner with a pink backdrop and each of the girls got to take a picture with cinderella. I found some really cute Disney Princess frames. We framed each picture and gave them to the girls as their "favor". I also took real tea cups and filled them with little trinkets (rings, bracelets, some candy etc) and gave each girl one of those.

I also had a section set up for the adults with real tea cups and saucers and appetizers so the adults that stayed could participate. I bought lots of tea cups from ebay.

When it was time for the tea party the teens that were helping with make-up became the waitresses. They served the girls and the adults. I had tea and lemonade just in case anyone did not want tea. We had several appetizers set out throughout the party, but we served several different kinds of cookies with the tea.

My daughter still talks about this party.

if you are looking for kid sets, they have some online on clearance for i think $5 each on etoys.com or kbtoys.com

i also saw some last night in the target toy clearance. i didn't notice the price, but they were all white i believe- closer to a real look than most toy sets.

Yep I just saw one at Target Today. I don't know if it's 50% or 75% off?? I believe it's one of those pale green boxes with checkered designs..

You can also check Disney store or on-line and JCPenney on-line might have something like this...

**I just looked at JCPenney's website and found this one:
