shirtsizesmall Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 I was at the Knox Center area Marshalls last night, and they were beginning their 'yellow tag' clearance. For those unfamiliar with this, Marshalls normally uses red tags for their markdowns. However- at the end of season they begin to use yellow tags. This takes additional $ off the red tag clearance price. In my experience they will keep marking these yellow tag items down to over 90-95% off what you would pay in the dept. store (sometimes less). I got many woman's tops, shoes and dresses last fall for less than $1 each. This is definitely something to look out for!
trbarginhunter Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 Thanks for the tip, I got DH some dress shirts for $10 a piece, shoes for me for $15. I'm happy!
Scanner420 Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 Not a Marshall's fan, but DW is. I'll pass along the info......along with the house payment.
Barclay2 Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 I stumbled upon this great clearance by accident. I was in there using a store credit and walked out paying a small fortune. I got my DH a great Ralph Lauren suit that was red tagged to $119 and a salesman told me to take it to get scanned before I checked out. It was yellow tagged down to $78. I was so excited, that was an awesome deal!!
MathGirl Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 Thanks for the info! Will check it out tomorrow.
PennyCarter Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 I was in there today and got a pair of shoes. They were regular $29.99 and yellow tagged for $20.00. I bought them because I am looking for some blue shoes for my wedding, but it didn't seem like a great clearance deal. Is this normal?
