I think if you'll be doing any live/online gaming you'd want the 60GB version or higher; if you're just playing games and not worrying about saving your progress on a bunch of games, the $199 version would be just fine.

We have 2 of them. DH has the 120gb Elite version which he hasn't come close to using all the memory on but had to have:rolleyes:

DS18 has the arcade version and we bought the 20gb hard drive through microsoft's memory upgrade program for $32 shipped. Great deal!! Especially since we got the arcade on sale through Dell for 15 % off. Search for Dell coupons, not sure if there are any out now or not.

Both will do everything they want. They both play online, but ds had to hook up the internet to his where as dh's has wireless in it.

Check TigerDirect.com. They had refurb 20 GB xboxs for $199. Not a bad deal. My DS 14 is pretty hard core into gaming and has not run out of space yet. He literally has over 50 360 games, and has not complained about being out of HD space.

I'd buy the 60GB from Amazon.com and save paying the tax....unless of course you get charged tax there, lol. They had a deal a while back on Dell but I was broke from buying the 3 laptops, the Rant, the dirt bike ect so I had to just go buy one at Kmart the day before his birthday (28th,lol). They do come with the 2 free games right now so buy it quick as these are the "holiday" bundles and I was told they aren't putting these out anymore once they are gone. Of course DS14 was less than thrilled with Kung-fu Panda & Indiana Jones Lego....he hasn't opened them as of yet but maybe he'll play them with DS5,lol.
