I'm just starting to get over my strep throat, but with the snow this morning decided to get more bread and hit the target. Found a 4 pack of the Junie Jones books 30% off, but only one there so decided for $12.xx that was ok. Also picked up the Fosters Tag book 75% off so $3.xx...markdown person was in toys scanning away...pathetic though, it's one side of ONE aisle now :( They still have tons of the Didj still at 50% off, some of the sleeping beauties still at 50% as well...nothing much else i'm interested in is left. Got one of the last 2 loaves of bread and headed home.

Really? Are you sure it was a markdown person? They must be pretty far ahead to be doing it on a Tuesday, or Target is playing games with the schedule again. They usually shoot outs on Tuesday or Wednesday, for ordering. They were doing that at our store this morning, so lots of grey circle tags.

Oy. I hope that doesn't mean EVERYTHING won't be marked down to 75% Wed or Thurs!!!:gdparanoid: Why bother scanning SOME things if there isn't even that much clearance left? kwim? Even my Targets have such small clearance sections now! You'd think they'd have just done it all!

Went to two stores this morning and I must have missed all the good baby stuff. :( Got some 2 pack sleepers for $2.48, but that was about it.

 

Still really wanting Spike, but he is still at $65 at my store and I just can't justify that.

 

I wanted to look around, but I browsed so long I was late getting my son from school.....OOOOPS!

Went to Target today. Baby stuff was still only 30% off here. There was just one aisle of toys. No new markdowns in toys.

I noticed the bulk stuff was put into the regular aisles now.

Wow! I'm surprised your baby stuff is still only 30% off. I thought my Targets were the slowest when it came to markdowns. All the Targets near me (I have about 6 of them) had all the stuff at 75% off. Even the ones that only had the big items (strollers, carseats, etc) at 30% off last week had them at 75% off yesterday. Of course, there weren't new stickers on all the stuff and not everything was scanned by the time I got there, so I asked someone with a PDA to scan them for me and check if they were scheduled to be marked down today....sure enough they were.

Thanks for the response. I was thinking I was probably out of luck but just thought I would check.

Saw 6 fp dvds at the quarry target today 50% off not sure when they will do another mark down if you have the dcpi # you could call wed. & thurs. to check.

There're still a bunch of things I'm interested in if I can find them at 75%:

Fisher Price Smart Cycle

Smores Pony

Little Einsteins rocket

FP DVD Player

Walkin Talkin McQueen (saw one at 50% still)

sleeping beauty doll

 

(You didn't happen to see any of these go to 75%?)

We don't have any of the smart cycles, rockets, dvd players, mcqueens anymore, so i don't know about them. The sleeping beauty doll is still at 50% as is the smores pony.

yep, it was a markdown person...I asked her actually if she was (lol), she scanned some things for me but nothing had changed prices. I made a comment about being annoyed that most of the toys were gone and yet had not dropped price in weeks and she made one back about why should they drop the prices if the toys are still selling. Well, i responded with some of the toys really aren't moving at all (like the 500 didj systems still at 50%)...she said nothing. I actually didn't see her find anything to drop the price on...she was scanning and then putting back. I did see a whole team over in baby stuff with the grey sticker dots.

I agree...i wish they would just drop everything to 75% and clear it all out and end our collective agony! :gdparanoid:

Make sure you san them. There is a new model at full price. The clearance ones were gone at my store. They may have sold at 50%. I haven't been there in awhile.

 

Another snow storm comming in Ohio. It happens every time toys get marked down!:mad:

I was able to find The Little mermaid and batman umbrella for 3.XX. My baby section was wiped out. Not much left. I did buy a safety first outlet & appliance childproofing kit for 4.XX and some candle sets for 2.XX.

 

They moved all the clearance toys to the sporting goods area. Only one aisle left. Not much left, but there are still a couple of things I am holding out for. We shall see.............I probably won't go again until Thursday.

GOOD LUCK to all my fellow bargain hunters!! I will be out tomorrow hoping to find more mark downs in the toy dept, lots of stuff others have all ready gotten for 75% off still sit in my stores at 50% they can't drag this out forever HOPEFULLY tomorrow will be OUR DAY!!

Maybe she was checking for herself. ;) That's a shame! Hopefully it will get marked soon!

Anyone notice if camping stuff has gone to 75% off yet? Need a tent and was expecting them to be marked down last Thursday but they weren't.

I'm pretty sure the camp stove was 75% Monday, but I only noticed it, didn't really LOOK at it so I'm not positive.

Okay I really want some of the baby items. Are all of them marked with red stickers because I didn't see anything like bouncy's,l swings or anything on clearance. Can you tell me what you saw.

 

also my son spilt sonmethinmg all over nmy keyboard and the nmumnbers are all stuck together nmow. guess I will have to get a nmew onme takes too long to keep deletinmg extra ltrs. The nm and nm are the worst. :eek:

Cosco Spirit (I think) stroller/carseat combo 37.xx, highchair, 8.74, a different chair, 12.xx swing, 24.xx, various strollers, 8.74 & up, basinet/cradle thing, 24.xx...I saw all this Monday around 2 pm...was surprised to see that much left in the afternoon of the markdown. Also lots of baby small stuff too. Some was marked 50% but all scanned at 75%, at least what I scanned. Oh, a nice round bouncy seat, but it was pink, about 13.xx I think. My sis got a swing for 24.xx. Also saw gates. HTH I previously saw a portacrib that was already cheap 17.xx? at 50%.

went to ours today there isnt crap left its pitiful i couldnt believe in just a week there is so much gone!

Not sure why but our Didj systems are not on clearance at ALL! all regular price

 

but we did return Biscuit with no problem at all id like to thank the gals that let me know i could return it without the receipt they looked it up no prob and the guy was a doll that gave me the refund.

My daughter had $135 to go on a shopping spree she walked out with 2 littlest pet shops a puppy in my pocket and a V-day little elmo car for her brother that was it!

 

Heads up though they have a kit to grow your own butterflies for $3.94!! and thats regular price! we did that last year and i paid $20 for the dang kit! these are new they didnt have this last time i was there i swear its marked wrong but i scanned it and it was right!

Wow! Was this in your regular clearance section? Maybe it's a regional thing because I haven't seen that on the shelves at all!
