jcarr492 Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 Okay, when I go to the Online deals forum and click to view the last page of the Amazon deals thread(the one with 800+ posts...I get a microsoft error popup that says that page can't be found..but the page is right there! And is says operation aborted. I go to click cancel or the X...then it takes me to a "page cannot be found"..so I have to double click back, and when I click it again...same thing. Its been happening for two days ONLY on that thread. Makes no sense. None of the other pages do it. Anyone????
tdanette Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 Same thing has happened to me and only on that thread, but yesterday it worked okay. Don't know what's wrong but you're not the only one.
satidwell Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 this has happened too me it even happend today
cashandra Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 put me on the list, has happened for the last few days. I thought it was just my puter.
bluesky225 Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 It's also happening to me. It's doing "this page cannot be found" and kicking me off of the site.
MeliesMom Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 It's happened to me too. It has done it before also, but it's random and not that often.
Brad Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 I can't get it to happen for me. I'm guessing there is something code-related in one of the posts (probably from someone that doesn't know how to correctly post pics or something) that causes the browser to crash. I assume you are all using IE?
bettyn100 Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 No problems getting to it on Safari. But sometimes when I try on IE I get the error. It's hit and miss.
noehlp Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 Fwiw, I have never had a problem opening that thread.
jstluvem Posted December 24, 2008 Posted December 24, 2008 me too...I hit refresh a couple of times and it's good
lakj98 Posted December 24, 2008 Posted December 24, 2008 I keep getting that error message too. I get it with IE and with AOL.
pumpkin456 Posted December 24, 2008 Posted December 24, 2008 sometimes it works sometimes it does not
