m61376 Posted June 1, 2005 Posted June 1, 2005 Rubbing salt in the wound? I was hoping for a better deal, but was only partially burnt- EPP had the same discount, but also offered 12%. Since I was stuck with tax either way, it was a no brainer. Maybe tomorrow's deals will be better- any info. on the rebates available for the dimensions?
RossMAN Posted June 2, 2005 Posted June 2, 2005 What's your budget on the Dimension and what minimum specs are you looking for? There may be a perfect deal going on RIGHT NOW, just right for your needs :)

EagleEye Posted June 2, 2005 Posted June 2, 2005 If I use a DPA to buy a laptop, can I pay off the entire order without paying any interest? I have all the money right now to buy the laptop, but I would rather buy an 1800$ one than a 1900$ one to get the 750$ rebate.
EagleEye Posted June 2, 2005 Posted June 2, 2005 Hmm, I'm wondering if it would be a better deal to buy a Inspiron 6000 from the small business section. They have a 433$ coupon and and 150$ MIR. I have one configured for around 1000$ in the end that would have: -Intel® Pentium® M Processor 750 (1.86 GHz/2MB Cache/533MHz FSB) -512 ram -60 gig HD -2nd 9 cell battery -64mb ATI's MOBILITY™ RADEON X300 with everything else standard. It comes out to 1157 before the MIR. Does this sound like a good deal?
RossMAN Posted June 2, 2005 Posted June 2, 2005 Hi Matt, Do you know if Dell Home charges sales tax in your state? For $1000 after coupon and rebate that's a warm deal. About 6 weeks ago I bought a nicely loaded Dell Inspiron 6000 for $748. If Dell brings back the $750 off $1499 then you might want to wait. It also depends on how soon you need this laptop? Who knows maybe this summer these insane hot deals will dry up and we're back to $200 rebate offers?
