bigjimslade Posted November 28, 2008 Posted November 28, 2008 (edited) I was going though the wire photos for BF. Here is the BEST idea I have EVER seen. Too bad they told them no. Shoppers Kevin Naumann, from left, brother Steve, and their brother Eric of Berkley, Mich. each purchase a 42' plasma television for $499 that normally sells for $899 at a Meijers store in Troy, Mich. during Black Friday, Nov. 28, 2008. The brothers had brought along an inflatable doll with the hopes being able to purchase a fifth television. 'We tried to get her a T.V. but they wouldn't allow us' said Eric Naumann, 'you've got to be able to push a cart.'(AP Photo/Gary Malerba) Edited November 28, 2008 by bigjimslade
~Trina~ Posted November 28, 2008 Posted November 28, 2008 HILARIOUS!! They definitely get credit for trying!
JohnnyLaRue Posted November 28, 2008 Posted November 28, 2008 HEY! I was wondering where my doll went! (I kid I kid!)
fluffkin79 Posted November 28, 2008 Posted November 28, 2008 That is so not fair! My grandma has serious trouble pushing a shopping cart, does that mean she can't have a TV? Of course, grandma didn't go shopping today!
Gporter34 Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 I think that is too funny, lmao. I would much rather see this type of thing than the craziness where people get hurt/killed. They should have gotten another tv for being "original" in their ideas, lol.
bigjimslade Posted November 29, 2008 Author Posted November 29, 2008 If I was the store manager I would have given them the TV
Gporter34 Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 If I was the store manager I would have given them the TV:yup:I agree. I bet they were fun to wait in line with, lol.
wx4svr Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 That is seriously EPIC! I love that. Odd... but COOL!
tazolover Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 GENIUS! I love it! And I agree with those above, that had I been the store manager, I would have let them do it since it was not only original, but hysterical.
