kiwi2121
I swear by my CHI flat iron. I have tried cheaping out and buying the other less expensive irons and none of them work like the CHI. And $99 seems like a pretty decent deal. I know I spent a little over $100 for mine, but I bought it off ebay.
kbasketcr8r
I got my daughter the HAI. It was around the same price as the one at Target, but my hairdresser says the quality of the HAI is much better. I can even use it, and I have extremely curly hair. childofsolitude
I have tried many different hair straighteners but nothing compares to my Chi. Not only does it straighten my hair quicker but I've also definitely noticed that compared to cheaper ones, my hair is far, far less damaged because the plates on the Chi are ceramic. jade6700
I've been using Chi for over 4 years now. It works really well at straightening my very curly hair. That's a good price on it too. When I bought mine several years ago it was around $120.
crys
I have the Chi and the Paul Mitchell Smoothing Iron. The Paul Mitchell is hands down better on my textured hair.
GloriousDaisy
I have been using CHI for almost a year now. I bought it from amazon for some 75-80$. And its the best with results. You might wanna buy it from amazonhttp://www.amazon.com/Farouk-CHI-Inch-Ceramic-Hairstyling/dp/B0009V1YR8/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=hpc&qid=1227850205&sr=8-1. :)
nat1jen
I bought the $71 Chi for my DD a few weeks ago from amazon with free shipping and no sales tax. She is paying for it with her own money because she didn't want to wait until Christmas. She loves it.
bluesky225
I also love Chi! I've used several brands, but Chi is by far the best. Amazon and ebay have them for between $70 and $80 usually. $99 is probably the best you'd see in a regular store though.

amickeyfan
I got my daughters a Chi on Amazon last year & knock on wood.. no problems at all. They love it. We also have a Rusk that is two years old and seems to be loosing power. It doesn't heat up as hot as it use to. It had a two year warranty and don't you know.. just two years to the week it started. We didn't send it back because it is a thing that we "cannot" really prove. We just feel that it isn't heating like it use to. I am not sure how true it is, but I have heard that the Chi's at Target while true Chi's, they are the lower end ones.. again, I am not sure if this is just a rumor. callir
I was looking into buying a CHI and went to folica.com to research and select one. There they had a comparison between CHI and SOLIA and I chose Solia and I love it. I would recommend checking out that site to read reviews. Guest LuvMyRedHead
Sally Beauty Supply: Helen of Troy $40 CERAMIC - I would never bother with a Chi when I have this, I loved it so much I bought the 2.5" and 1" and still paid less than 1 reglar CHI!
