Promom Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 DS 13 wants either a ipod or a psp for christmas. I'm leaning toward the psp, since he can play games, watch movies and download music. He's on a travel baseball team and wants to listen to music before games. Has anyone else compared the two?
len_mullen Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 apples and oranges. if he wants to play games, the psp is great. if he wants a unobtrusive media player, the psp is kind of big, the batteries don't last long enough, and memory cards are kind of expensive.
Crissy Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 Or maybe the ipod touch, it can play some games too, music and movies...
hoosierxheart Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 My son has a PSP and it's great! We've not gotten around to downloading music yet, but one major plus is Internet! You can log on where ever there is WiFi!! I don't think you can do that on the Ipod.
len_mullen Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 Or maybe the ipod touch, it can play some games too, music and movies...touch games are time killers not comparable to the games on a psp. as a portable game system, the psp is without peer.
Gnish Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 The iPod touch does offer wifi (and of course the iPhone). The other iPods do not.
