You might be better off with something like Hanna Montana or Pets. I don't know about Wii City Folk...sorry.

Animal Crossing Wii City Folks is great for that age. We love Animal Crossing and we will be getting Wii City Folks for Christmas:D

I love Animal Crossing and so do my boys! I got the City Folk game last week and haven't tried it out yet. I ordered the wii speak tonight because I forgot to get it last week. I CANNOT WAIT! Animal Crossing is my all time favorite game! I am trying to convince some of my online friends to get it so that we can all play, lol.

Like you, this is a MUST buy for my family too. I've read a LOT of reviews of the game and just wanted to make sure you're not too disappointed. From what I've read (it's a Xmas gift here so I've not played it either), it's pretty much the same game as the others with few differences. Even some of the furnishings are still the same.

 

I have to admit, I'm a bit discouraged, but I have also read that the online feature will be awesome. Of course, at this point, that too is a huge let down, but I'm hoping (maybe wishful thinking on my part) that more is announced later on. Maybe everything wasn't set to go at release? I just can't imagine Nintendo spent the past 3 to 4 years working on the next installment to only give us the same thing we had all along.
