shanni Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 Has none of the bath gift sets they sell every year, none of the makeup kits, none of the hair brush kits, the little bottle of perfume/cologne, the little kits of makeup for little kids. We have aisles of that stuff every year and not a single one of any of these this year. Is it just my Walmart?
theboyzmom Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 my walmart has a few, but not nearly as many as they've had in the past...of course, there are usually a ton of these left over and clearanced after Christmas, so maybe they cut back?

KBsDarling Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 every year since i was like 10 my dad buys me one...he was serious at first...now it has become a joke and he finds the most ridiculous one he can...that said he started the same with dd7...but she is still young enough to get excited about her "spa basket" from Gpa LOL
sweetdiggity Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 I went to Walmart today to check out some BF items, , and they had 2 aisles of fragrance sets, makeup, etc. They were in the process of being stocked, but there was a lot of stuff.

mrstoots Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 I went to one of my local Walmarts tonight to do my weekly shopping (I say "one" of my local Walmarts because there are FOUR Walmarts in either direction within a 25 mile radius from my house!). For kicks I thought I'd seek out some of the BF items, in particular the Rubbermaid set. In Home Goods I found the set but it was for a 40 piece set. As I turned back into the main aisle I saw the display of the 24 piece set all stacked up and currently selling for $10.88. Going through the toy section I saw TONS of boxes all stacked up in the middle of the aisles and in electronics two guys were setting out boxes that looked big enough to hold either TVs or computers. I didn't really pay too much attention to the boxes themselves but found it interesting none the less that they seemed to be setting up shop so early before BF. It was pretty obvious these boxes were BF items. They don't normally have all these items sitting in the center of their aisles like that. At least not at this Walmart Bring it on!

Though for me that number's probably more like 7 - I'm always amazed when people imply they only have 1 Wal-Mart within a reasonable distance! Then again, I do live in one of the most densely-populated areas of the country, so we need them!
