Brad Posted November 16, 2008 Share Posted November 16, 2008 With a week left before we can post the Walmart Black Friday ad, it's inevitable that the ad will get leaked if it hasn't already (and I'm shocked it hasn't come out yet...). However we still cannot allow discussion of the ad beyond what is reported in stories like the one on CNN.com on Friday. So, having said that, here are the rules until next Sunday: DO NOT POST THE AD SCANSDO NOT POST THE AD ITEM LISTSDO NOT POST THAT YOU HAVE THE AD - WE KNOW IT'S OUTDO NOT POST "LETTERS TO SANTA" OR ANY OTHER ATTEMPT TO DISGUISE THE AD INFODO NOT POST LINKS TO OTHER SITES THAT MIGHT HAVE THE ADDO NOT GIVE INSTRUCTIONS FOR HOW TO FIND THE AD ON TORRENTS, ETC...DO NOT ASK PEOPLE TO PM OR E-MAIL YOU ABOUT THE AD These rules apply both to the forum and chat room - logs are kept for the chat room. ANYONE WHO DOES NOT FOLLOW THESE RULES WILL BE BANNED IMMEDIATELY I apologize that we have to go to these extremes, but should this info be posted on here, it would have severe consequences for the site and my business. All the mods will actively be moderating this forum during the week to enforce these rules, so make it easy for us and play by the rules.
