any opinions on the GPS? I have no idea.

The Magellan 4000 series GPS units are not that good. Theu are a highly returned item. Customer Service is horrible, you have to deal with people in India who's only job, god bless them, is to get you off the phone. Maps are two years out of date on the model above and it will cost 75.00 to update.

I have a Tomtom and I love it. Haven't had any problems with it.
