I got this for my wife back on Mother's Day for that price. It was the first time the price dropped from $500.00 the prev. year. It may go lower around the holidays, but why gamble if you're going to use it now?

I love my Cricut...check the Cricut Message Board (Cricut.com, community) General Chat....there is ususally something about who is having a sale, although that's a great price!

I would keep checking Michaels. They always have Cricut on sale. Last year, they had a special deal on Black Friday.

WalMart has the Expression in their Friday and Saturday sale for $199. I believe it comes with two cartridges, mats, etc.

Michael's has the cartridges for $30, Creative expressions (online) will price match if you send them an email. I have the original Cricut and love it. DD uses it for school, and Girl Scouts. And I use it for scrapbooking and cards. You may want the Design Studio software, I really like it, adds a lot to my Cricut for card making, can weld letters, etc.

I get Michaels e-mails. Today I got a special coupon for an additional 15% off the sale price for Cricut system for 12/1 only. I'm not going to use it. If you want to give me your e-mail, I'd be happy to forward it to you.

If you didn't get one yet, you can order the Expression for $199 +FS from Customcrops.com and say you are price matching it to the Walmart BF ad. She will do it through this Friday. I did it yesterday, no problem. Then, go to http://www.cricut.com/Default.aspx and on their homepage is some ad about $100, wait for it to change (it is slow) and it will come up with a deal that they send you two cartridges for $8!!! Read the details, needs to be purchased between 10/31 and sometime in December
