trob67
I see tons of mattress places but no deals for twin top mattress only for a 4 year old.....maybe I am looking in the wrong places. I just bought him a Captains bed so we dont need the set of beds only the top one. I am in or near Jacksonville Fl. THX

3 boys
Ask your local furniture dealer for discontinued sets... I got 2 sets for my twins for $125.
trob67
I dont even need a set. There is something called a bunkie mattress which the big lots guy said will work for a captains bed since I wont need the bottom mattress...But I have to go check the quality/thickness etc... Rose0426
If you have a BJ's near you, check there. I know they sell them by separately.
3 boys
The bunkie boards are just some plywood wrapped in cloth

You're probably better off buying a real mattress.

Got the Serta Twin mattress for day beds and bunk beds. No bunkie board either just the mattress. $99....thanks everyone!
debbieshops2003
I bought my son's (16) twin mattress at Sam's Club. It was the best price and a great mattress. He's really happy with it.
