We have both and by far my dd likes the baby chou chou better. She probably has about 8 of them. They look and feel so much like a real baby. The baby alive just didn't thrill her. I would pay full price for a chou chou baby vs. a baby alive doll on sale that is how much she loves them. hth

my oldest daughter loved her baby chou chou! All my girls had baby chou chou the 2 younger ones also had baby alive....baby chou chou gets much more use than baby alive does at this point.

We loved our baby chou chou and it shows. However, we never owned a baby alive so I can't compare.

We were at Target today. I showed Jessica both dolls. She REALLY liked the Baby alive one more.

So I may go with that. But am still open to opinions.
