BobbyDouglas
I am looking for a stable 4+ port wired router. I have heard good things about dlink, linksys, belkin, and netgear. Right now my current 4 port router is giving me very annoying timeout messages. I think it is just getting too old to handle anything. Any suggestions? RossMAN
I would recommend the Linksys BEFW11S4 for $4.94 after coupon and rebate. Yes you read that correctly $4.94 Connect your DSL Modem to the Router, and all the computers in your household can share the Internet -- all at the same timeConnect your home computers directly to the Router with Ethernet cables, or put wireless network adapters in them and communicate over radio wavesOnce your computers are connected to the Router, they can communicate with each other too, sharing resources and files, and print on a shared printerAll wireless communications are protected by 128-bit encryptionAlthough it's a wireless router it also has 4 wired 10/100 Ethernet ports. For only $5 you can't really go wrong and Linksys is a reputable brand.
RossMAN
Although this is the slower 802.11b it's a nice solid wired/wireless router Review: http://reviews.designtechnica.com/review16_main78.html

Brad
I've been using that exact model for about 3 years now. No problems ever. Paid around $200 for it

RossMAN
Here are two other non-wireless options:D-Link DI-604 for $24.49 after rebate.Netgear RP614 for $29.
Brad
"Paid around $200 for it "Lmao as I place my order for $5And I bought it from Dell with a coupon and it was still that much. It actually may have been closer to $150 now that I think of it. But I've gotten 3+ years out of it, so in the long run it was still worth it.
