brynnfromtheblock
We borrowed this video camera today and really liked it.. anyone know the best place to buy stuff like this?
Brad
Cheapest price on PriceGrabber is around $485... I can do better :) Go here: http://www.tweeter.com/product/index.jsp?productId=1769308 $428 with free shipping (plus tax for you FL residents ) and there is a $25 rebate: http://images.pricegrabber.com/rebates/27022.pdf Which also gives you 3 free blank DVDs to use with it. So it'll come out to around $430 shipped after rebate plus the free DVDs. The rebate pretty much takes care of your sales tax. Of course if anyone can find something better, please post. But I really think this is the best you can do.

Brad
Why stop at the 201? Keep going to the 301 model Cheapest price on PriceGrabber is around $645 ... once again I can do better :) Go here: http://www.tweeter.com/product/index.jsp?productId=1883682 $598 with free shipping (plus tax, minus $25 rebate, blah blah blah) Tweeter no longer carries the 201 model, BTW

aplefka
I would recommend going with the 301. It'll be nice enough to last a good 5-7 years. Why bother paying less for something that won't be as nice for as long?
ActuaryTm
You may want to read this Sony DCR-DVD201 review especially towards the bottomHave a local family member that purchased a DVD201 the middle of last year. He's been extremely satisfied with it thus far.
