mitch94mac Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 Hi Everyone, About when does Target start their 2 day sale campaign? A couple years ago they had a free service where you could sign up for wake up reminders from celebrities, and last year they had the race to to 2 day sale. Any guess what they will do this year and when?
afrey66 Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 If I remember correctly, it was soon around/after Halloween.
jballen Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 Is there someone we could call to get this information? Halloween is coming up so soon and I would really like to know about this sale. It's never to early to start!!!
mitch94mac Posted October 13, 2008 Author Posted October 13, 2008 It's never to early to start!!!Agreed!
disneyfan20 Posted October 16, 2008 Posted October 16, 2008 Target's 2 day sale starts on Black Friday. The difference between most other stores ( Walmart, Best Buy etc) and Target is the other stores have the early birds where prices are only valid for a few hours. Target for many years has had a 2 day sale where the prices are valid both Friday and Saturday----assuming of course they still have the items in stock. I have been shopping at Target on Black Friday for over 10 years now and they always seem to have a good amount of the sales items in stock.
afrey66 Posted October 16, 2008 Posted October 16, 2008 I am very fond of the Target 2 day sale. I head there after doing the morning run for the early bird stuff I want. I have quite a few Targets in my city so if I don't find what I'm looking for at one, I'll drive to another.
mitch94mac Posted October 16, 2008 Author Posted October 16, 2008 I know that Target's 2 day sale is Black Friday. What I was talking about was the unique campaign they do every year to promote the sale. Like one year they had free wake up calls, and another year was race to the 2 day sale.

(They opened their doors early and stayed open late and the sales went through the weekend.)
Sacramentum Posted October 23, 2008 Posted October 23, 2008 I love going to Target on BF.. They always have the things they advertise and even try to help find more. And it is nice to be able to go back once the crowds have died down to find anything else that you want and have forgotten when you were there earlier in the morning.
mitch94mac Posted November 4, 2008 Author Posted November 4, 2008 Halloween has come and gone and the 2day.target.com still takes you to last year's contest page! Any more info on this year's campaign?
