Im looking to find some cheap LED christmas lights. I have 5-6 strings that I bought at walmart over the past few years, and would like to expand my colelction. Anyone know of cheaper online sources to buy them? Must be LED, and multicolored (no white).

Looks like Im going to have to go the Walmart route. Oh well at least then I can be sure they will match up with the ones I already have. I just thought maybe Id luck out and find some direct from china website somewhere with them extremely cheap since its still kinda early and all.

Here you go:

http://www.dealextreme.com/products.dx/category.1014

Site is reputable. Do expect 2-3 weeks to get your order, and don't expect much help if you get the wrong item shipped out or if you have problems (they do sometimes respond, but once you pay for return shipping, it's not really worth it). That said, they will actually ship something out, and most of the time it's what you ordered and works fine. If you order Christmas lights from them (prices didn't look spectacular, but not horrible either), make sure you get 110volt as many seem to be 220v.

I already checked dealextreme . Actually it was the first place I looked, as I like shopping with them. Didnt find anything I liked there with the exception of maybe getting a USB powered tree for my desk at work.

They had them at Ace last year around $25 a pack

Well since I paid less then $10 a string at walmart I guess Ill be going back there this year.

I thought that was kind of high too. That is why the price stuck in my head for a year!

I know you're looking to use these lights this season, but if you can watch inventory and wait, Target does a KILLER after-Christmas sale. Prices go 75% off.

Okay, that said, also check places like Hobby Lobby or Garden Ridge for their sales. Their regular prices are not that hot but they often do a 50% off sales before Christmas. Garden Ridge might do their sale over the Thanksgiving weekend.

One other thing - a few years ago I bought a few trial strings of the LED multicolor lights and noticed that one of the cheaper brands skimped on the blue and green lights. Normal multicolor strands are equal in color quantity but this cheapie had 2x more yellow and orange lights than any other shade. The reason why is there is a slight variance in the manufacturing cost of each color, so they loaded up on the cheap colors. This shouldn't be a concern with major brands though.

im not sure how soon you want these or how big the strands are, but brad reposted the ace bf ad and they have 35 ct. C6 LED light set. White or Multi-colored 10'lighted length. $4.99. I dunno if you shop bf at ace or if thats even a good deal cuz i dont know much about lights. Its on page 4 of the ad scan if you wanna look though

Walmart -after Christmas! I think Target's not too bad and Lowes may have them on sale if you watch the paper. I think we bought some at Garden Ridge at one of their big sales one year.
