I have searched and can't find what to do. I have started another thread and am wanting to post a picture. I did search other forums on how to do so, but nothing is working. I
I do have photobucket and I think also a few pictures on gottadeal, but can't get any onto the thread.
I click on the little icon that is the square with the sun and mountain to insert image.....I earsed the http:// that was preloaded and then copied the IMG code from photobucket..... I think clicked ok and this is what I get
IMG]http://gi263.photobu...SQCG/062007.jpg[/IMG]
I did preview the post and no actual photo just the info above....
can anyone help...what am I doing wrong?
I see pictures on here and just want to put some of mine too....thank you in advance for any help.

The IMG code shows up twice because photobucket has the img tag option. If you copy from that option with the img tag then you can just paste directly into the post.
If you are using a link without the img codes that just start with http:// it's much easier to click on the little mountain pic and paste the link in there. It adds tags for you, hence the double img tags in your post.
I hope that made a little bit of sense.

It worked! I'm working from Picasa web albums, and I think they're all different.
I just right clicked on the pic, went down to Properties, copied the location (http:...) and pasted it into the box that comes up here when you click the mountain (insert picture) icon.
Whew. Good luck.

There's a point in your life when you get tired of chasing everyone and trying to fix everything. But it's not giving up... It's realizing that you don't need certain people, the bull, and the drama they bring.

The address you are trying to post isn't the address to an actual picture - it's just a web site. You need to get the URL web address of the actual picture file (which will usually end in .jpg or .gif) for it to show up."http://www.apple.com/imac/"]http://www.apple.com/imac
