Scott Posted May 3, 2005 Posted May 3, 2005 Hey all... I just picked up the 19" LCD as a gift for my mom. Now, I want to find an inexpensive AGP DVI card to drive it. It is only used for 2D, so steallar 3D performance is not an option. I took a quick look at the "Egg" and found the Rosewill 9200SE for $35 shipped. not a bad deal, but I want to know what the world's best deal finders could do. Work your magic.
ActuaryTm Posted May 3, 2005 Posted May 3, 2005 Bottom barrel ($6.99 + shipping). Not certain I would trust the product or the reseller, however. Might consider the card originally mentioned from this source ($29.99, free shipping), or the refurbished version ($28.99 shipped) from the Egg.
Scott Posted May 4, 2005 Author Posted May 4, 2005 Thaks "Tim" :) I forgot about checking the refurb section of NewEgg. That should be perfect.

glenn1 Posted May 6, 2005 Posted May 6, 2005 I can't seem to post links unfortunately. But if you go to ChiefValue, and do a search for item #: CF14164028 You'll find there a 9200SE for $29.99 shipped. http://www.chiefvalue.com/app/productdetails.asp?submit=search&item=14-164-028 [link added -Brad]
Mike Posted May 6, 2005 Posted May 6, 2005 You could probably find one in the FS/FT AT forum...I got a cheap dvi agp for $20 shipped almost a year ago.

ActuaryTm Posted May 6, 2005 Posted May 6, 2005 http://www.chiefvalue.com/app/productdetails.asp?submit=search&item=14-164-028 Thanks glenn1 :)This is proof no one follows any of the URLs Jorge provides. The same precise link was posted above in Jorge's initial response. Jorge is getting upset.
RossMAN Posted May 6, 2005 Posted May 6, 2005 Jesse, you're absolutely correct. My most humble apologies from one Ferengi to another.
ActuaryTm Posted May 6, 2005 Posted May 6, 2005 My most humble apologies from one Ferengi to another.Isn't one of the Rules of Acquisition, "Never admit a mistake if there is someone else to blame."? In any case, apology accepted. May your lobes grow large, and be stroked by females often.
