Thats a shame...Goody's is a nice place to get clothes. Glad to see ours isn't closing. Personally I think this is only the beginning. With the economy I think we are going to see more businesses closing stores and filing bankruptcy....$4 gas affects everything!

all 3 in chattanooga are closing....the one here and the one in next town over aren't closing. I think the ones in smaller towns have a better chance of making it since we don't have as many places to shop.

Both of the stores close to me are closing I love love love Goody's 80% off clearance, and will really miss it. That's where I usually stok up on school clothes for my kids

My local store is closing too. They did well in a smaller stip mall they were in but then they moved into the real mall and I think the rent is too high. I got my whole family leather coats last black friday there for under $200. It was a steal!

thank goodness the one in Ky that I shop at is not closing....it does help with it being a college town I think.

RATS! Both of the ones near me are closing. I have noticed in the last 6 months that their inventory was horrible.

Oh my goodness, I only found mine 2 weeks ago!!! I was so excited, it's 2 hours away. It's on the list

They are building a new one in our town. Its under construction.

That's funny that they are closing the one in North Little Rock but just built a new store in cabot.
