Insulated Lunch Bag/tote - Any Recommendations??

My dd will start at a new preschool next month and she will have to take her own lunch so I am looking for an insulated lunch bag for her. I need one that we can put an icepack in and then there still be room for a juice box and her food. Does anyone have a recommendation for any particular one or brand? Or any they do not recommend?

Congrats on Preschool! I recommend doing some research before buying them. Not long ago, they found lead in the insulated portion of the bags. I have been putting paper bags and stainless steel thermoses (they come in all sizes) in back packs this year. I think I'll buy a few more stainless insulated drink containers since a lot of the plastic drink containers (sippy cups and sport bottles) have been found to leach chemicals. I brought these this year and love them! They are the CleanSweep Solid ClassMate™ Lunch Box from Lands End. They are $19.50, but you may find them clearanced at Sears. Either way, they are worth the twenty bucks. They have a pouch for the ice pack and a firm build so the ice pack doesn't smush the sandwich. It is easy to clean. There is plenty of room for food and drink. It also has a front pouch in case you need to send a snack too. I have brought ones from LL Bean and hated them. These have lasted and held up beautifully.They also clip on the outside of the backpack for easy carrying and they don't get lost.

Thanks! I will stop by the Sears tomorrow and see if they have any. If they don't, I will probably just order one. I have a Land's End backpack that I used for a diaper bag and was very happy with it. It has held up well and I still use it. Can't believe I didn't think of looking at Land's End for the lunch box, lol.

txmomma, if you don't find any at Sears, make sure you call Lands End at Sears. You will receive free shipping by doing this! They will still ship it to your home, but you won't pay to have it shipped. I guess if they don't have it at the Sears store than you get free shipping. It won't work if you call from home though. Just another suggestion!
