The code is SHIPDISNEY It's valid at: Disneyshopping.com Disneystore.com DisneyOutlet.com Not valid on phone orders or at physical locations. Applies to standard delivery on any order sent to a single shipment address in the continental US, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, US possessions, and APO/FPO addresses. samisma
ok. couldn't reach a live person. did the contact a rep through their website and sent this message: Yesterday I went to my Disney Store, at the Arrowhead Mall in Glendale, AZ. As you know, they are closing their doors to 'remodel' and they were distributing coupons for $5 shipping at your online stores. The coupon is for $5 off any order, no purchase minimum. The code is SHIPDISNEY and it expires at 11:59pmPT on 4/26/08. Please explain why this coupon code comes up INVALID. It's bad enough that you're taking away my favorite store, but now you're giving out bogus coupons?!Will update when I get an answer.
MMitchell29
oohh samisma you didn't have to go through all the trouble. I was just going to get a few things from the outlet so when we go to Disney (I have 4 days left on non expiring tickets) I won't have to spend an arm and a leg or sell the family cat as payment for the triple cost of an item in the park
MMitchell29
And i wasn't spending 50.00 dollars because i already brought some stuff when they had that huge half off sale.
samisma
lol no actually i want to know for myself too. there's a toy (cash register) that I would like to get for DD, our store didn't have any left - and I don't want to pay a ton for shipping on it. MMitchell29
I don't know why they charge so much for shipping only to turn around to and charge 5.00 once you reach 50.00 or so. Don't they see that people would buy more if the shipping weren't so high?

samisma
this is going to be my last post unless anything changes: Dear Ebony, Thank you for your quick responses. Would like to point out that the SHIFFOR5 is an invalid code. I'm guessing you meant to send SHIPFOR5 - however I don't want/need $50 worth of merchandise at this time. Does this mean that SHIPDISNEY is not going to work on the websites any time soon? I find that a bit odd considering the sheer number of these coupons that were being handed out to customers yesterday. I don't know what day they started the store-closing sale, or what day they started distributing the coupon, but I would imagine that you will have other frustrated customers when they're coupons come up as 'invalid'. Some probably aren't as picky as me and instead of contacting/calling you they'll just give up and not purchase the items which will result in lost sales. Can you explain why invalid coupons are being distributed to customers? It wasn't just a single coupon - there were stacks by each register.
