That is good to know because I took a chance and bought from one of their sellers earlier today.

Mickey62 Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 Question, I bought the Colby 2gb from an offer on here:http://www.jr.com/JRProductPage.process?Product_Id=4152345&JRSource=linkshare.datafeed.CBY+SDM2GBS Would this memory card be faster or better for my Cannon Powershot??
Mickey62 Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 Sorry, I had someone waiting on me and I had to post fast but I recently bought my first digitl camera, Cannon Powershot and the Colby 2gb card listed below. Since I know NOTHING about digital cameras or these memory cards, would this card be an upgrade in speed or performance than the Colby? And I could get a bigger gb size as well..thanks! Question, I bought the Colby 2gb from an offer on here:http://www.jr.com/JRProductPage.process?Product_Id=4152345&JRSource=linkshare.datafeed.CBY+SDM2GBS Would this memory card be faster or better for my Cannon Powershot??
Mickey62 Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 Me again :) I was reading on the other fourms here about digital cameras and a high speed card was essential for fast shots, click click click. Now I haven't used my much to play with the settings but a pic does take time so maybe the Colby card is slow?Maybe I need this?http://www.amazon.com/o/ASIN/B000FKKWVM/ref=nosim/oubl-20
mikebone Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 You have to also make sure that the camera is compatible with a high speed card or SDHC. I had an older Canon and emailed the customer service to see what speed card I should get and they said with my model it did not matter because it would make no difference. Check if your camera is compatible with the SDHC cards as I believe they are best.
Mickey62 Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 Thanks, I take it this would be the card you're talking about if my camera takes it?http://www.amazon.com/o/ASIN/B000FKKWVM/ref=nosim/oubl-20 I will call tomorrow and ask..thanks again..just want to get the best card.. You have to also make sure that the camera is compatible with a high speed card or SDHC.
