I'm trying to find a good price for a canon digital slr. any suggestions?

Rule of thumb - If it's located in Brooklyn, don't trust them as far as you can sneeze. This company is.

 

B&H Photo and Amazon are good online stores for DSLR. They are established and you know you won't get ripped off. I'd lean toward B&H, though, because they have awesome customer service.

don't order from them! the price is low for a reason - they're frauds. they will call you to confirm your order, and then go "oh by the way, your camera doesn't come with a battery. you can purchase that from us for this obscene price."

 

then they'll try to tack on other accessories and expedited shipping.

I just bought a DSLR and checked the link above (resellerrating) before purchasing. I ended up buying it locally, but did just pruchase a lens through B&H. I have heard excellent things about that place!
