RossMAN Posted March 29, 2005 Posted March 29, 2005 Too bad I'm looking for 1 GB. This is tempting thoughIs this for your PDA or digicam? What brand/model do you own?
i-bystander Posted March 29, 2005 Posted March 29, 2005 Great price... holding out for a 1GB as well.
Scott Posted March 29, 2005 Posted March 29, 2005 Is this for your PDA or digicam? What brand/model do you own?It is for the wife's digicam. She doesn't want to ever have to put another card in... :)
i-bystander Posted March 29, 2005 Posted March 29, 2005 It is for the wife's digicam. She doesn't want to ever have to put another card in... :)If it's for a digicam, I'd suggest going with two 512MB instead of one 1GB - that way, if the card ever decides to act up, you don't lose all your pictures.

nineofus Posted March 29, 2005 Posted March 29, 2005 [Trying not to seem selfish...] Being a first time Buy.com buyer, when I clicked "add to cart", I noticed a Buy.com promotional code box came up. Are there any promotional codes out there for first time buyers? TIA, Andrea

I'm not sure why, but I guess there is security in having a backup card.
nineofus Posted March 29, 2005 Posted March 29, 2005 Inquiring minds... Why is the list price for the Viking $450.00 and the list price for the Kingston $44.00? Anyone...anyone...

Brad Posted March 29, 2005 Posted March 29, 2005 There aren't any "codes" for Buy.com, but there are coupons that can be activated via links. Here is our list of current coupons: http://www.gottadeal.com/coupons-store-buy.html I don't think any would apply to a purchase like this - the lowest minimum for computer items is $150.

How do you get that again? Andrea, I can give you a 6% coupon if you haven't placed your order yet - let me know if you want it.
Brad Posted March 29, 2005 Posted March 29, 2005 I've never heard about a first-time discount, at least not in the last 6 months. They just have their monthly coupons that are all usually for new customers only. Occassionally they will e-mail coupons to current customers, but those are usually only good if you received the e-mail. Or if they send them out to everyone like the 6% coupon, we don't get commission on any order placed using them (which is why we don't promote them as much as the other coupons :) )

Andrea, forget about my offer and go fill up your cart with $50 worth of items so you can get $5 off and help GD at the same time! She can use the $5 off $50 Electronics, right? Worth a shot, at least.
nineofus Posted March 29, 2005 Posted March 29, 2005 i-bystander - Thanks for the 6% coupon offer. Now that I know GottaDeal won't get credit, I'll pass. I'm going now to place my order. Thanks again!
