abentley
Can you tell it is on my brain today? LOL!! I booked last time thru disneyland.com, but considered costco this time. Who do you book thru? Should I call a travel agent?
rae662000
I usually book it all myself thru disney's website. I must admit I have not done Disneyland, just Disneyworld, but I enjoy planning everything myself. Try www.mousesavers.com She will give you specific info about what is going on and if you want to book yourself you will know what is available and any discount codes happening Also if you want a reputable travel agency she uses small world Also www.disboards.com has tons of info and they also have a travel agency linked to that website. HTH I second the mousesavers! She saved me a bunch of cash the last time I went to Orlando. I am going again this summer and was about to start following her again. ms_mckenna
If you are going to watch the boards like a hawk book your own. I can't stand not having control so I book with 407WDisney. Now I have heard a lot of good things about http://www.dreamsunlimitedtravel.com/vacationplanning/index.htm and there are some great agents over on the www.tourguidemike.com board. Which honestly is not a bad site to belong to ... hint hint lol.
Promom
DH just joined AAA and now I want to use them for discount at WDW hotels. Do I book thru WDW or AAA to get the discount?
ms_mckenna
I believe and please do not quote me that you can book directly with WDW and get AAA discount. But I believe either this month is Disney month at AAA and you get a 25 dollar Disney GC at check in for booking with AAA.
Bella2kids
When we went last year we booked directly with AAA. They have their own travel agents and they will even book your dining for you.
mistral
I know you said dinning. But does that include character dinning etc. I've heard boardies mention prepaid dinning is that through AAA too? thanks for the help Linda
Bella2kids
It does include the character dining but it is actually the Disney Dining Plan. AAA just made the phone calls and reservations for us. They knew exactly what day the reservations could be made because some of the character dining can be made 180 days in advance. We went in June and our dining reservations were made in December. Hope this helps.
