Scott Posted March 26, 2005 Share Posted March 26, 2005 AGP > PCI So if you have an AGP slot, that is definately what you want to use. EDITI would suggest something based on the ATI 9550 chipset. It is a decent card for the money. ASUS ATI 9550 AGP at Newegg $67.00 (including shipping) Check around, you may be able to find another card based on that same chipset for less. Very hit or miss as far as price and availability are concerned, but you can often find excellent deals. Wouldn't suggest such for a complete novice, however - you may be required to locate drivers yourself, and/or (occassionally) optional accessories.
