clintme Posted January 2, 2008 Posted January 2, 2008 Hey guys, I'm looking for a deal on the Tax Year 2007 version of Taxcut. Anyone seen any deals yet? Thanks!
godwinlt Posted January 2, 2008 Posted January 2, 2008 Unless, you have a really complicated return, you can use TaxAct.com for free.
clintme Posted January 2, 2008 Author Posted January 2, 2008 Unfortunately, I do have a complicated return. Thanks anyway! :)
windyscat Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 :bump I'm looking for the best deal on taxcut, too... anyone see anything?
nirvana4all Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 What level? fed only, fed+state, fed+state premium, etc.
BoulderChick Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 The CompUSA near us had them last weekend for $39.99 and then 15% off
nirvana4all Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 Premium w/ fed only should be $19.99 base Premium Fed+state should be $39.99 Premium Fed+State+e-file is $69.99 base You can find deals less that these prices, but these are the going rates for each item to make sure it is less than. Compusa has shown practices lately on marking up some items then marking them down again, so just watch out.
nolansmomster Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 I see this weekend that a few of our local Sunday ads have it listed with freebies-- Best Buy will give you a DVD up to $20 or one of the big office chains (Office Depot I believe) will give you a $10 gift card... I believe both are selling for between $64.99 and $69.99.
rae662000 Posted January 21, 2008 Posted January 21, 2008 Yes, I scored on a price mistake that Office Depot had on this. They advertised Premium/state/fed for $39.99 with a $10 card last week and when you went in the store, the signage on the shelf said Premium/state/fed plus e-file $69.99 minus $40 instant rebate and $10 gift card rebate. I took it to the register because it was a better deal and it rang up for $69. Showed the cashier the signage and she had the override.....I did not know and apparently they did not know it was not in the system. Usually I get mine from the warehouse clubs, they usually have the best deal, but it is usually a little later around 1st week of Feb. before you start to see them.
nolansmomster Posted January 21, 2008 Posted January 21, 2008 Okay, I just found my copy on amazon.com for fed/ state/ e-file at $54.99 with free shipping... That's better than I've found it anywhere... woo hoo!
nirvana4all Posted January 22, 2008 Posted January 22, 2008 If compusa near you is closing, they are up to about 20% off any remaining software. Cant hurt to go in the store and check (not online).
figarotigger Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 Staples has a $10 gift check rebate (available as easyrebate online) with purchase of select Taxcut products (sku 713658, 713662, 713660). Rebate begins 12/30/07 and ends 02/16/08. I combined this with a $20 off of $100 purchase card I received in the mail and bought other software that was free after instant and mail in rebates. Total $126.75 minus the $20 made my purchases $106.72 and I mailed/online for rebates of $90. This will make my $39.99 Taxcut plus state and federal $16.72 the other software free.
Ripn Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 $49.99 H&R Block TaxCut 2007 Premium Federal + State + e-file (Win/Mac)http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000WPYZEA/ref=xs_gb_20_center-2_rw_uk_17995?ie=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_p=305207801&pf_rd_s=right-1&pf_rd_t=701&pf_rd_i=20&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=0KCPBQJ2FYKX298ZKHDW
