AcLaramie Posted January 1, 2008 Posted January 1, 2008 I am looking for a good deal on some new PC speakers or media center. Of course, I saw a great set of Bose ones at Sam's Club for $249, but I am not willing to spend that kind of money. Does anyone know where to find a good brand either offline or online?
FourDreemz Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 Hi. Do you have a Fry's up your way? I don't remember what I paid for them, but I got some Yamaha speakers there about a year ago. I know that they didn't cost much, because I'm cheap, but I've been impressed again and again by how good they sound. The bass is fantastic. Are Bose speakers really that (comparatively) good that people spend that kind of money on them?
cici22 Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 I've been looking for some pc speakers (so I can use with my mp3 player) and I've read a lot of good reviews about the Logitech x230 speakers. I'm not sure what your price range is, but they're 37.49 plus shipping at Ritzcamera.com. http://a1672.g.akamai.net/7/1672/116/20080101/www.ritzcamera.com/graphics/products/e-18/EP5124818.jpg ETA: it looks like ritzcamera only has the white speakers in stock...
Marcster Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 If you want black Ligitech x230 speakers, Newegg has them:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16836121123 $38.99 plus $11.53 for 3-day shipping... 707 reviews and they all average 5 stars... They sound great for the low price.
