lbuzz52
walmart is definetely cheaper than target for these; ask for some of the metal hangars at the dry cleaners, they will give them to you for free.

Swampbaby
i dont know about now but back in the day you could go to the dry cleaners and buy them for cheapLast ones I had to buy were 10 cents each. More than happy to pay it cause we had uniforms that had to be on hangers. This summer, when our son heads to college, he needs the same ones - metal with the cardboard tube - and the college even said they could be purchased at the laundry. cianco301
If you have a Meijer store around you....a 30 pack of white plastic ones are in the ad on sale for 3/$10. That's 90 hangers for $10. Not bad if you can't find them for $1.00 at Walmart.
trbarginhunter
Target has them all the time, 12 or 13 for $1.50 or so. I just bought some yesterday for all the new clothes DD received over Christmas.

debbha
and if you hate the plastic hangers with those little slots...Westlake/Ace Hardware has straight plastic hangers for $1.49 for a 10-pack.
okiemom00
I don't know if stores still do this, not too many years back at Foley's, now Macys, they replaced all of the kids clothing hangers with their own hangers and threw the white ones away. I knew someone working there in the kids dept that saved them for me after a truck came in. You might ask some stores if they ever throw them away.
