Brad
I thought you guys would like it, lol. It was around $102 a few days ago, so it was nice to see it dropped another $5.
mrn8
It's a good case. I think I paid about $95 shipped each for the two I have running at work. One's a Spam Filter and the other runs a patch update server. The only complaint I have is that the hard drive placement is a little weird. mrn8
Would this fit perfectly underneath a Dell 2005FPW widescreen LCD?Yes it would. You can PM me for detail on where to ship the monitor. Edit:The case is solid, so no worries with setting anything on top of it. It's gloss black, but the silver face is a perfect match to the Dell silver. RossMAN
Ooh just need to find the right motherboard/CPU. Would my standard Leadtek A250 Ti4200 fit in this?
mrn8
It should, there's plenty of room for a full sized ATX and PCI cards in there.
RossMAN
This may become my main rig instead of an HTPC.
Brad
Keep in mind that the picture is a little misleading - this case is pretty big for a desktop case. Being that it fits full-size ATX motherboards, full height PCI cards, etc... If you want something for an HTPC, look at the Antec Minuet which is for microATX boards and only fits half-height PCI/AGP cards, which could be a deal-breaker for some. RossMAN
It should, there's plenty of room for a full sized ATX and PCI cards in there.I hate having my Dell Dimension 4600 on the ground. I'd like easier access to the power button, optical drives and USB/FireWire. Plus this looks wide and long enough to accomodate the footprint of the Dell 2005FPW LCD. It's a little bigger than the standard Dell desktop cases.
Beau6183
The only complaint I have of this one is that it is a bit deep.... but it's very nice looking!
alm99
Would this thing stick out like a sore thumb as a HTPC?
Brad
Would this thing stick out like a sore thumb as a HTPC?There are some pics of it in a HT setting on Amazon, like this one:http://g-images.amazon.com/images/G/01/ciu/ff/41/4df5a2c008a03052bb5bff00.L.jpg
