Scott
good deal for those that want to build a nice quite system with a quality case. This one gets the sdible seal of approval. Not that it matters all that much. :)

i-bystander
What's the regular price?
mrn8
Regular price is ~$100 + shipping. This saves about $20 on the normal cost. I can guarantee that this is an awesome case. I've built 3 machines in them, and the owners are very pleased. It really is a quiet case. It's easy to work in, too, as most Antec cases I've used have been. RossMAN
What's the size of this? Would it function as a ghetto-pseudo HTPC case?
Beau6183
What's the size of this? Would it function as a ghetto-pseudo HTPC case?Sonata Specs It could, but it's a little large for it. VERY nice case though, I've bought 4 of them in the past for my computers and friends'. If you're looking for a HTPC case that is of the same style, The Antec Overture case is maybe a better candidate. Still as quite, has the same piano black finish, but is in a desktop config. $97 @ mwave.
RossMAN
Beau, Thanks for the link. How does the Overture differ from the Antec Aria?
Beau6183
The overture can accept full ATX mobo's while the Aria is for MicoATX. If you can find a good deal on a good MicroATX motherboard ( Like the Asus A7N8X-VM/400 with integrated digital video out (DVI), S/PDIF surround sound out and GeForce MX graphics (more than enough for good video playback)), I'd probably go with the Aria because of it's compactness. But, OTOH, I've yet to find a M-ATX that cools well.
RossMAN
Actually I like the Overture but I'd like to see them in person side by side, I wonder if Fry's B&M carries both?

We don't have a Fry's that I'm aware of near us
Scott
I've seen them both. I have an aria here, but it doesn't make the best HTPC. It can be a little noisy. I think that the overture is a little quieter.
mrn8
Fry's / Outpost Fry's has the Sonata for $89.99, no rebates. If you have a B&M Fry's, this is a good deal. Shipping is $4.83 for ground, so it comes out to be slightly cheaper than newegg.
