dmmiller Posted December 15, 2007 Posted December 15, 2007 Wow.. I would have never guessed they sold those LOL
bayhaysay Posted December 15, 2007 Posted December 15, 2007 A friend of mine has a breathalyzer (and 2 teenage boys at the time, lol). She said it was the best money she has ever spent. I think she said she paid around $20 for hers.
elena_398 Posted December 15, 2007 Posted December 15, 2007 That would be hilarious as a gag gift. LOL. I ordered a couple items though through here and they cancelled my order 2 days ago. Said couldn't be filled. Wasn't that bad as they were filler stocking stuffers, but still..
klaus Posted December 15, 2007 Posted December 15, 2007 Well I think, even though it is a nifty little thing, the smarter choice is simply not to drink then drive. Take a taxi, ask a friend etc... I have seen so many injured and dead people from this as I am a medical professional. Don't forget to tell your kids to be safe and smart this season.
NurseAngela Posted December 15, 2007 Posted December 15, 2007 Thanks! What a fun gift. I hope it goes through. As for drinking and driving that is a duh factor. Around here though, anything even over 0.05 is a DUI so 1/2 a drink and you are scared to drive. I would like to be sure if I have a glass of wine at dinner, that I am ok after a period of time, so this would help.

alimfp Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 I've never had to pay a customs fee on any orders from DealExtreme.
nikkilugi Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 everything is shipped from hong kong, you must pay customs on these i believe. In the US we don't have to pay customs fees - that is only other countries I believe. I have never had to pay anything for an overseas shipment. Of course I don't buy anything super expensive either.

nikkilugi Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 It seems to me for my purchase I would fall under the minimum $25 mark. Just recently I purchased the mouse pad from Cherry Press for $2.99 each. I did not have to pay anything at all.

klaus Posted December 20, 2007 Posted December 20, 2007 Here another thing that not many people do in relation to buying this product: You know ALL those things you have been buying on the internet that don't have tax, well your supposed to report them to the IRS/State tax return since you didn't pay tax on them so you can be taxed. Are they EVER going to find out no. I think it is a big farce, because that is one of the main reasons I shop on the internet so that I don't have to pay tax. But ultimately, it is your responsibility to report any tax.
AFkat Posted December 20, 2007 Posted December 20, 2007 Gee, you're just a big bundle of cheery info, aren't you.
