LoveNcMountains Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 I have a bunch of something I bought 2 weeks ago and this week they are on sale for $2.00 less than what I paid. Do I just need to take the receipt in to get a price adjustment? How far will they go back for a price adjustment?
love a deal Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 I don't think they go back that far for a price adjustment. If they have exactly what you got 2 weeks ago, buy it all again at the sale price and take it all back with the receipt from 2 weeks ago.
nikkilugi Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 I was also told 2 weeks or 14 days. You can bring your receipt in and see what they say - if they decline then I would rebuy and then return with the older receipt.
Rockfordmom Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 14 days and yes just bring in your receipt, otherwise as others have stated: rebuy it on sale and then return it the next day with your original (not on sale) receipt
LoveNcMountains Posted December 9, 2007 Author Posted December 9, 2007 Ok, the reciepts are dated 11-28 so I guess I should be good as far as the return....I better get my rear end to Target in the morning. I bought 19 items, so I guess it is worth the special trip to go there, $38.00!
AudreyNicole Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 I just did this today. I bought an easel for my son on 11/26, and it is on sale this week. I had no problems at all.
Melissa Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 Yep, 14 days and all you need is your receipt.

YOU CANNOT RETURN & REBUY IT EITHER you'll havre to wait for them to reshelve it & sometimes it mysteriously doesn't make it back to shelf. I am sure the employees have 1st dibs. this is the only downfall with Target I am a Target junkie !!
