allshoppedout Posted December 6, 2007 Posted December 6, 2007 Hi, This might sound nuts but does anyone know of a simple type of an MP3 player that plugs right into the computer hard drive (no cables, no software needed)?? I want to get my BIL a simple MP3 and he doesn't need a 1,000 songs and the easier it is to use, the better.sorry I posted this in another area, which was correct but I do not know how to get rid of it on other thread:o
besttassel Posted December 12, 2007 Posted December 12, 2007 I don't understand exactly what you mean. You'd need a cable, for sure, to connect an MP3 player to your computer, if that's what you're talking about. A lot of MP3 players come with pre-bundled software that makes it easy to transfer songs. In my experience, my iPod with iTunes has faired me well. Perhaps an iPod Shuffle would be adequate?
shannon91c Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 My daughter had one that was a USB on one end that plugged into the computer, no wires. I don't know where it came from though it was a gift.
Marcster Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 The first generation Apple Shuffle MP3 player plugs right in. http://www.savesome.net/images/shuffle.JPG You can still find some new on ebay (http://electronics.search.ebay.com/shuffle-1st-gen_Apple-iPod-MP3-Players_W0QQcatrefZC12QQfrppZ50QQfsooZ1QQfsopZ1QQmaxrecordsreturnedZ300QQsacatZ15057) but there are certainly more advanced MP3 players out there these days...
cici22 Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 do you mean something like a Sansa express?http://i20.ebayimg.com/05/i/000/b8/27/e552_2.JPG if you do, coby, rca, and I think nextar(sp?) also make mp3 players like that.:)
