raycesmommy Posted November 28, 2007 Share Posted November 28, 2007 We purchased this for my son for his birthday (he turned 3 in August). I too was very skeptical after reading the reviews but decided to try it seeing as I got it on clearance. All I can say is I am so glad I didn't listen to the reviews. My son plays it daily. I do not mind the graphics at all. I guess, though, I still play with my old school Nintendo NES and have never gotten into the new gaming systems so you might want to take that into account. My son has never had any trouble writing with the pen or anything else for that matter. It amazed me how quickly he picked up on everything. In fact, with the exception of having to change our TV to the gaming mode, he can do everything himself right down to plugging the cords into the right areas. I highly recommend this product and in fact have had several friends and relatives get this exact product after seeing and playing with ours. HTH!!
