down comforter question

It sounds good, but check the thread count and check the fill number. Downs come in many many styles and weights. There are also a number of kinds of downs.

240 thread is on the low side & they move up......& goose down is a lot more $$$$ than duck down....if it was $400 it should be goose down

Depends also on what you're using it for, and what part of the country. I bought a twinsize lightweight down comforter on Amazon back in the summer for my daughter's room. Paid $17 and change. It's not a heavy comforter, but it's working great for here in Alabama where we only get down into the 20's a few days each year.
