I noticed today that Claire's has a big case with 24k gold earrings. I didn't see how much they were but they were in Claire's so the price can't be that bad.

I would check Claires. And Mervyns--they usually have a lot of jewelry sales going on this time of year, and you can get some good deals. I've bout earrings at both places for DD.

If you're looking for inexpensive, try KMart. They usually have their jewelry 70% off. I bought some little gemstone earrings with gold posts there for around $15....that way I don't feel too bad if they get lost.
