note235 Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 Since I could not get the $900 50'' Samsung at Frys, the manager who is a friend of my uncle said anyday after today I could come into the store, and anything (I would like TV) could be had for invoice price plus 10% off. Is this a good deal?
yellowlilax Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 depends - what tv is it - what is the price you're getting - what is "invoice"
note235 Posted November 23, 2007 Author Posted November 23, 2007 the price frys gets so the price the manufacture sells to them
Gurnee Al Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 Some of these items are sold for very little margin, so 10% over cost may not be so hot. You'll need to specify the exact item and cost to get an opinion.
freesia39 Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 that is the same discount that employees gets. i will tell you from experience TVs have a pretty large markup. when i worked at circuit city in college, (our discount was cost, no additional markup) i got my parents one of those rear projection large sony whatevers for half off. then they also got a sony wega for half off, and the stand for 75% off. see if you can find out what the price would be, and if that would be worth it.
note235 Posted November 24, 2007 Author Posted November 24, 2007 I can find out tomorrow Im thinking of trying to find out the best deal now, buy it and check out if tomorrow is better.
