videogamephreak
I was planning on standing in line for this. Is this a good TV that will last? It has 1000:1 contrast ratio.
Gurnee Al
Not good specs. Don't know about long term reliability, but the picture won''t be as great as some of the big name units.

screw991le
The sound stinks, unless you are using a receiver, don't bother.
8truths
http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/forumdisplay.php?f=9/ Don't be afraid to take these questions over to the AVS Forum. Just asking the hardcore geeks to dumb it down for you a tad. They love having new converts to their religion.
mommy2bugs
I wouldn't do it. Besides the quality of that model. Polaroid isnot a very reliable company to get parts from in the instance your tv does have problems (even under warranty) I work for a TV Repair shop, and we had 2 or 3 poloroids in the shop for over 6 months waiting on parts from the company. dcguy
The Element 32" LCD TV being offered at Circuit City is also a Polaroid rebrand. However that model has a 1200:1 contrast ratio. Not sure why the Wal-Mart model has a lower one (maybe due to the cheaper specifications that the manufacturer specified to produce them for Wal-Mart's production cost per unit?). Here is the Polaroid link for the product description. They offer two other 32" models that are better than this model. The model number is TLX-03210B. http://www.polaroid.com/global/detail.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524441767419&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374302031789&bmUID=1195781987311&bmLocale=en_US
