I'm looking for my father, who just entered the fast speed internet crowd but his computer only has a cd-rom. They seem to range in price from 40 to 100, is that typical? (if it's Win98, you could have problems)Are the USB ports USB 1.1 or 2.0? (if it's USB 1.1, your Dad will have some ridiculously slow burns)How much Ram (1GB or more should be the minimum)How fast is the processor? You are better off waiting and picking one up online.
