mcmc
there is a huge difference though the one for black friday does not have the dvd and it seems that the problem with the one reviewed on walmart.com is the dvd thing. So I think it would be ok.

weechrd
I bought th 32" LCD because it had lots of good features. It was really worth the money...until it broke down. If you get one, pray that it never breaks down.

elena_398
In the consumer reports, Polaroid isn't very good. Not even in top 10 brands. Sony of course is the best..... Out of the "off brands" Vizio scored the best then Olevia. Of course ultimately its up to you. My husband decided to skip buying a LCD this year and we'll save to buy a Sony next year (bigger size too). We'll save throughout the year then buy next BF. mommy2bugs
I would go with another brand over Polaroid.
dcguy
Wal-Mart incorrectly linked the LCD TV DVD combo model to this deal for $448. Wal-Mart made a deal with Polaroid to manufacture this "new" model that is described on this link that DOES NOT have a DVD player. Circuit City's Element 32" LCD TV ($399.99 Black Friday deal) is also made by Polaroid. However, that model has a contrast ratio of 1200:1 versus 1000:1 for this model. The model number is TLX-03210B. http://www.polaroid.com/global/detail.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524441767419&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374302031789&bmUID=1195781987311&bmLocale=en_US
